Play in the Park
The park has been a joyful place for many children who have fond memories of playing in the park. In recent times new children play areas have been introduced, a multi-user games area, a zip wire and outdoor gym.
The Big Slide and Swings
One popular memory was of the original big slide and swings, in the days before health and safety concerns. They were removed a number of years ago and newer equipment installed.

Pathfinder play area
During March 2010 a new play area was installed in Red House under the Pathfinder programme.The following equipment was installed .
- A Zip wire
- Small Climbing Frame that spins round
- Four Metre High Double Activity Spacenet
Outdoor Gym
Outdoor gym equipment has been installed
